Sydney sider Jay Gleeson picked up a new board late last week, it was a PE copy of the board you see here in the photo. Jay took a PP stringer to Sumatra last year and loved the amount of flex it gave him and he wanted the same for the winter waters back home,
PE stringer/mesh it is.
Was just looking at a few old photo files on the desktop and found this one from way back in 07. This day was so so fun and Tim Jones was swimming around out there shooting some surfers, I was stoked to hook up and get a little shot. You got to love scoring at home.
This is very old school and very rarely done these days but with the correct colour set up the “top rail” can looks pretty sick!
Jake Williams has gone for the old school look with a Black deck, Yellow top rail, Yellow pin, Yellow bottom rail and a Yellow slick. PE core, slot channels, contours and stringer/mesh.
Was lucky enough to get a couple of backstage passes for the Parkway Drive show on Friday night in Sydney.Man o man was it sick! the guys put on an epic show and watching all the action from the stage was so good!
